Universality of Urban Seeds
1. Application to various building types
By lamination or recombinant, Urban Seeds can be applied to various building types to reconstruct a city as well as housing. This is a proposal of the reconstruction of the elementary school that was destroyed by the tsunami. Construction period not only reduced, it is possible to adapt flexibly in response to a change of the number of students in the future.
2. Localization by vernacular housing
Urban seeds can adapt to various climate by local materials and construction mehods in the land, which have been transported. This is a public space for community, it is assumed that Indonesia was damaged by tsunami. By to combine the exterior of a porous of rattan and structure of bamboo in urban seeds, house adapted to the hot and humid climate is created.
